he crew behind Melbourne based media project PLGRM pride themselves in creating awesome visual stories that explore subjects outside of the everyday sphere. Recently the team have opened up their catalogue of web series to capture and document the stories behind local eccentrics, providing a platform to view the world from their unique perspective.

Today they’re back with a look in to the life of Melbourne taxi driver David Thomas, a New Zealand-born dairy farmer with 26 years of experience driving cabs.

Throughout David’s career driving taxis he’s battled health, homelessness and ongoing pressures from the authorities. The last being due to his notorious and self-described “explosive personality”. But David refuses to change. Motivated by generosity and his unique and vivid premonitions, David remains one of his adopted city’s genuine eccentrics. Watch the clip below and view PLGRM for more.
