John Oliver has launched another scathing attack on football’s governing body FIFA.
Appearing on the most recent episode of his show, Last Week Tonight, the satirist and comedian who regularly takes aim at FIFA, calls for Sepp Blatter’s head and pleads with major sponsors such as McDonalds, Budweiser and Adidas to part ways with the organisation.
The roasting comes in the wake of the controversial re-appointment of Sepp Blatter and the arrest of several high-profile FIFA officials in regards to corruption and bribes taken over the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
