WATCH: Enrique Iglesias injured during concert by drone

Ol’ mate Enrique Iglesias was very lucky to escape with all his fingers intact after he attempted to grab a drone at a concert overnight.

In what surely seemed like a great idea at the time, the ‘Hero’ singer was performing in Tijuana when he reached out for the drone which had been filming aerial footage of the gig.

In an attempt to shoot some point-of-view, hand held footage of the crowd, the propellers of the drone hacked away at his right hand, leaving blood gushing out in front of the 12,000 strong crowd (See Video).

Despite having blood streaming out of his right hand and a heavily blood-stained white tee shirt, Iglesias continued performing for another 30 minutes like an absolute trooper despite being advised to end the show.

He was then rushed to the airport for first aid treatment before boarding a flight to Los Angeles to see a hand specialist.
