A dude was sitting on the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge this morning, after getting a cab to the bridge and climbing the structure.

As a result of his actions, several city-bound lanes to be closed, causing traffic chaos.

The man was travelling in a taxi when he suddenly got out and climbed to the top of the bridge’s arch at around 9:30am. After soaking in the views, he decided to climb down a bit before 11am.

Andrew Millet, the 7 News helicopter pilot, has told 2GB that the man was about four vertical beams in from the bridge’s northern pylon and was “right underneath the top arch, tucked right in under there”.

It remains unknown as to why the guy decided to climb Australia’s most famous landmark as part of his morning routine, but Twitter is having a fucking field day.

The man has been taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital.
