Valeria Lukyanova, better known as the ‘real world Barbie doll’ has allegedly gone one step further in her pursuit to mimic a plastic children’s toy.

The 29 Ukrainian model and avid plastic surgery fan shot to notoriety with headlines across the world with her obsession to copy the (scientifically impossible) beauty standards of Barbie. Fair to say the alien results have have caused a stir (for all the right and wrong reasons).

After a recent photoshoot published this week (see above), the internet is now fiercely debating the seemingly impossible growth spurt in her legs with many claiming that she’s gone the ‘extra length’ to have these surgically enhanced too. Others believe the snaps are a blatant photoshop effort, while Lukyanova is boasting online that people are simply jealous of her looks. Without launching in to the obvious body and mental health issues here, I think it’s fair to agree ‘real life Barbie’ is simply ridiculous.

Either way, it seems all this heated discussion is only going to spur her on:

“It is not the first time I’ve noticed negative comments about my figure. Boys and girls get themselves so worked up they seem a bit mad, and in a fit of rage sit they’re bashing on the keyboard and foaming at the mouth. They write so much rubbish in such a frenzy that they treat me like I stole their last mouthful of food or something. My only reaction to these people is to continue to work on my body and to make it even more perfect.”
