Some absolute heroes have built a ball pit for adults

The looks you get from parents when you take over the monkey bars as an adult at the local playground can be a real bummer. But how come we don’t get our own adult playgrounds? Have we forgotten what fun is???

London creative agency Pearlfisher want to remind us of that joyous feeling, and so have tipped 81,000 white balls into a white gallery space in Hammersmith in an installation called Jump In!. The 30-person ball pit is meant to “champion the transformative power of joyful play,” and also support children’s charity organisation Right To Play (Pearlfisher are donating £1 per visitor, entry is free though!).

Thanks to this video, I now also understand the joy of the song ‘Let It Go’.

If you’re in the area the address is Pearlfisher Gallery, 50 Brook Green, W6 7BJ in Hammersmith. It’s open until February 13, Monday to Friday from 10am – 5pm. Email jumpin@pearlfisher.com to reserve a spot.
