Runaway Bride Lauren On ‘Married At First Sight’ Has Already Moved On With A Different Fella
She was labeled Married at First Sight’s ‘runaway bride’, but it looks like Lauren has found love fast – just not with her TV hubby Andrew.
This week on the dating series, Lauran and Andrew’s blind wedding got off to a good start. The seemingly happy couple made it to their reception all guns blazing until things made a turn for the worst. During the festivities, the bride slipped away into the night for a quick exit and didn’t return. Poor Andrew was left on his lonesome to suck up his pride.
It now appears there’s lots more to the story than meets the eye. Photos have emerged from Lauren’s Facebook account which were posted back in December, a few months after the wedding scenes were filmed. They show the single mum happily in a relationship with a new boyfriend.
The pics have now been deleted by Lauren, but they serve as evidence that she was likely getting serious with another dude – while potentially needing to follow through on an earlier agreement to be on the TV show.

Most confusingly, one snap, which was posted by Lauren a few months after the wedding episode was filmed, shows a photo of two boarding passes. On the tickets it reads the names: “Jake Barnett” and “Lauren Barnett”.
This is super confusing. Has she re-married already?!!
A source told New Idea the mother of one had met her new fella Jake, a few weeks before the reality wedding.
“She is blissfully happy with him — he is a lovely guy, very settled and really looks after her,” the friend told the publication.

As far as the ‘runaway bride’ story goes, there might a lot more to what went down between Lauren and Andrew than what we saw.
At the start of the episode, it showed a short glimpse of Lauren getting cold feet – but there may have been more to that, which was cut down in edits. Women’s Day has since reported that we also didn’t see Andrew nearly get into a punch up with security after the reception at a Bondi establishment. That’s showbiz!
“What people don’t know is behind the scenes things were not running smoothly between Lauren and Andrew,” a source told Nine MSN.
