Grab the cheapest bottle of pink moscato you can find and crack open a cold one, because girls’ and boys’ nights have finally happened on Married at First Sight.

These nights are notorious for fuelling drama between the women, while bringing out the worst in the men who in previous years have often spoken about their wives in sexist and disrespectful terms. This year’s nights revolved around the appearances of cheating couple, Carolina and Daniel, as the controversial contestants appearance at the respective nights caused the rest of the cast to snub them. It was all very high school.

The boys sided firmly with Dion, choosing to ignore Daniel for most of night. To his credit, Daniel persisted with trying to chat to the other fellas but he ended up departing early after getting into an altercation with Mitch who kept baiting him. Between his repeated use of the word “bruh”, “wigging” and then speaking about Carolina in a disgusting way, Mitch was an embarrassment.

Tbh both nights were rather cringeworthy, so let’s jump into the absolute trashfire!

Jackson took Olivia on their final date, before he asked Olivia how she would navigate issues with his friends considering her history of holding grudges. Olivia replied she would stop being around them, then spilled that she’s clashed with her ex’s friends in the past.

But now it’s time for the Married at First Sight’s annual boys’ and girls’ nights. The women arrived at a restaurant Brent co-manages, yet Tamara told the ladies that he “waits tables” there.

Holly, Kate, Sam, and Selin rejoin their former costars. Selin launches into questions about the couples’ retreat and when she’s ignored, she gets into a war of words with Tamara. Sam bitches to Olivia and Tamara about Selin.

Jess waltzes in and the women fill her in on the Carolina and Daniel cheating saga.

The grooms are joined by Anthony, Matt, and finally Al who inspires a huge group hug. Dion arrives to a welcome reception from the boys, but the same can’t be said for Daniel’s entrance. The mood is tense and finally Daniel breaks his silence by saying… he doesn’t know what to say. He eventually revealed that he and Carolina have started a relationship and he has no regrets.

Dion then savages Daniel, calling him a liar and cheater, before boasting that Carolina threw away a diamond and picked up a rock. OK???

Carolina arrived to a frosty reception in time to tell the women she’s still dating Daniel and they’re officially boyfriend/girlfriend. Ella brought up Carolina’s treatment of Dion and Tamara asked her about a text she sent Dion saying it was ‘just a TV show’.

Mitch made snarky and disgusting comments to Daniel about his relationship with Carolina prompting Daniel to storm out.
