Married at First Sight has seen its first brawl break out tonight between Cyrell and Martha over whether Nic rubbed Jess’ leg at the dinner party. You’d think this would be something our experts may have picked up on but our expectations are pretty low.

The tea was spilt as Nic came back from a chat with Martha and told Cyrell, “According to Jess, I was rubbing her legs up under the dining table at the dinner party. This came out of Martha’s mouth.”

Jess then explained what Martha might have been referring to, saying “I told Martha that under the dinner table you’d rubbed my leg but that was because Mick was over talking to Heidi.” Err, the explanation didn’t make that much sense but also rubbing someone’s leg isn’t exactly that incriminating.

The big question is that if Jess didn’t think it was anything flirtatious then why did Martha say anything? “Martha made it a little bit more than it was but that’s what girls do,” Jess said in her friend’s defence. As a representative of a girl, I say a resounding ‘nope’ to this assessment.

Then it all boiled over. “Go get the bitch now!” Cyrell said and things escalated from there. In the room with Martha (and a confused Michael) it started with a convo and then ended with both women screaming each other and Cyrell grabbing Martha’s bathrobe before a producer stepped in.

Viewers have picked their fighter and not everyone agrees.

Some are siding with Martha over the argument.

But many reckon Martha’s provoked Cyrell and created the entire drama herself.
