Louis C.K Goes Beyonce: Quietly Drops Awesome Web Series Online In The Most Understated Way Possible
Having recently announced that he’ll be taking some time off, Louis C.K has successfully trolled his fans, quietly releasing a new web series called ‘Horace and Pete’. GET EXCITED!

As expected, the 67-minute episode is full of dark & twisted comedy and includes Louis alongside Steve Buscemi, Aidy Bryant and Edie Falco.
In what has to be the most understated promotion of all time, the comedian announced news of the show along with the first episode through a simple email to his subscribers.
The easily missable message reads:
“Hi there.
Horace and Pete episode one is available for download. $5. Go here to watch it.
We hope you like it.
Regards, Louis,”
Yep. That is essentially the announcement of the show, the promotion of the show and the launch of the show in less than five sentences. How very Beyoncé-esque.

Set in a dingy and depressing Brookyn bar, Horace and Pete the explores the miserable lives of the bartenders. It’s basically a darker version of Cheers with a lot more swearing.

The Horace and Pete branding is equally as drab
You can download and watch the first episode via Louis C.K’s website here.
Lets just hope it’s as shitty as this hilarious scene from the comedian’s FX show:
