Carlton & United Breweries Have Issued A Massive Beer Recall Over Potential Glass Fears
Hold the knock off beers. Carlton & United Breweries have recalled up to 40,000 slabs of Carlton Dry because it’s feared there could be small pieces of glass in the brew.
It’s being reported that the company is working with major national retailers like Coles, Woolworths, IGA and a bunch of pubs to help recall those bottles at risk.
The big question, are ya cold beers in the fridge potentially dangerous?

The recall applies to batches of 355ml bottles of Carlton Dry with a “best before” date of July 19, 2016 and July 20, 2016. Anything else, you’re good to go for ya arvo froffie.
Fairfax reports that ‘The Food Standards Australia and New Zealand authority confirmed the recall was underway on Thursday for two large batches of the Carlton Dry product in 355ml glass bottles with screw top closures.’
According to a statement from Food Standards Australia:
“The recall is due to the possible presence of glass in product,”authority said in its notification.”
CUB are the second biggest beer producers in the land. They also make Victoria Bitter, Crown Lager, Carlton Draught and Cascade. All this writing has worked up a hard earned thirst me thinks.

Matter’a fact i’ve got it now
